Half Day Hike To Orvvosfossen Waterfall
Overview
You will start your adventure with a 30 min drive up to our historical Gargia Lodge. From the lodge we will embark on an adventure into the Gargia forrest. Along the 2km long trail you will get to breath in the crisp forrest air and maybe experience wildlife also. After around 1,5 hour we will reach the waterfall, a magnificent conductor, orchestrating its dance over the ancient rocks. On the riverbank we will enjoy a short rest with coffee, tea and snacks. The tour is 2km each way and it take about 1,5 hours to reach the waterfall.

What To Expect
Embark on a mesmerizing journey through the enchanting forests of Alta, where the allure of outdoor life in Finnmark awaits. As you set foot on the trail leading to Orvvosfossen, be prepared to be captivated by the natural wonders that surround you.
The trail meanders through a rich tapestry of trees, offering a glimpse of the untouched beauty of this forested realm. Following this path for approximately 2 km, you will find yourself standing before the magnificent Orvvosfossen waterfall. Its powerful cascades create a mesmerizing spectacle, as water flows gracefully over rugged rocks, harmonizing with the surrounding nature.
