What To Expect
After over 100 years, a stunning and remarkable canyon has come back to life with the removal of the Klamath dams. The Kikacéki Reach of the Klamath River was bypassed for hydroelectric production, but today flows have been restored and the reveal has been nothing short of spectacular.
Our day on the river begins at the top of the former Copco Reservoir and concludes at the start of the former Iron Gate Reservoir. You’ll see first-hand the incredible rebirth of the reservoir footprints, a river finding its native channel, and challenging whitewater wrapped within the spectacular canyon of Kikacéki Reach.
Along the way, we’ll share the stories of the area – the triumphs, heartbreaks, and perspectives – that write the history of the people, dams, and dam removal on the Klamath River. There is no better way to grasp the scale of the changes to the Klamath River and the historical implications of dam removal than to float the river and see it with your own eyes.

If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
Feb 2023- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the tour start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the tour local time (PST).
