Overview
Embark on a five-day journey through Greece’s finest wine regions, blending history, landscapes, and award-winning wineries. Begin in Athens with a guided wine tasting, discovering ancient vineyards and indigenous grape varieties. The adventure continues in Attica, home to renowned Savatiano wines, followed by a visit to the Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounio, with a sunset over the Aegean.
Travel to Nemea, known as Greece’s “Bordeaux,” to taste bold Agiorgitiko wines before arriving in Nafplio, the country’s first capital. Explore Delphi, the sanctuary of Apollo, and enjoy a tasting of Xinomavro, Assyrtiko, and Savatiano wines at a traditional family winery.
A visit to Evia, Greece’s second-largest island, offers the chance to sample rare wines like Vradiano and Malagousia, and indulge in an oenotherapy spa experience. Conclude your journey with a relaxing evening in Athens before departing, full of unforgettable memories of Greece’s wine heritage and ancient wonders.
