Wine Tasting at Calado EL Guallavero
Overview
Do you know what a draft is? They are a type of underground tunnels that use their natural conditions to preserve the wine.
Its origin is found in medieval times, when the inhabitants of these fortified towns located in border lands sought protection from numerous attacks. It is considered that in Laguardia there are more than 300 caves or tunnels that join them, which for a long time were used as wineries where they made wine.
I tell you a secret? We have a private and exclusive draft. A space with many years of history where you can enjoy a selection of wines made by the family accompanied by a snack.

What To Expect
Travelers will arrive at the main square and head towards Santa Engracia Street until they reach number 32 where a sign indicating Casa Peque opens. We will visit a wonderful stall (EL GUALLAVERO) from the 16th century, in which we will visit said stall and taste 3 self-produced wines, 1 of which will be white and the other two red, accompanied by a snack of cheese and chorizo. All this commented by the producer himself. Approximate duration 1 hour.
