I am a professional chef and would be happy to share everything with you about Hungarian cuisine.
I love cooking and eating great food. It is fantastic when my kitchen is full of life: somebody is chopping onions, someone else is preparing the meat or kneading dough, and we are talking, laughing, and enjoying the wonderful smell of food filling the whole place.
While you are in Budapest, come, cook together, and enjoy this unique atmosphere in the centre.

What To Expect
Cook authentic Hungarian cuisine with a professional local chef who guides you every step of the way! Prepare a complete traditional Hungarian 3-course menu from scratch, accompanied by a Hungarian Farmer’s Plate, with no pre-prepared portions. Enjoy a truly hands-on cooking experience with enough counter space for everyone to cook. All ingredients and kitchen equipment are provided.
During the class, discover Hungarian ingredients, flavors, traditions and stories that make Hungarian cuisine unique. We also talk about Hungary, local food, customs and history. Learn professional techniques and practical tips you can use in your own kitchen.
At the end, sit down to enjoy the 3-course menu you’ve prepared, accompanied by Hungarian wine. You’ll also receive the recipes to recreate the dishes at home.
Menu options:
Menu A: Cold sour cherry soup, Chicken paprikas with dumplings, Gundel pancake
Menu B: Goulash soup (beef), Savoury pancake Hortobagy style (chicken), Apple Strudel. (made with filo dough)
Menu C: Creamy potato soup with smoked sausage, Stuffed cabbage (pork), Poppy-seed bread dumplings + vanilla custard
Minimum 4 participants are required for the class to run.
