Learn to surf at Cerritos Beach on Baja California Sur's Pacific coast. Along with standing on the board, practice reading waves and understanding ocean movement. The wide sandy beach offers space to learn and practice, with coaching suited to your experience and the conditions.

Meeting and Pickup
• Complimentary round-trip transportation is available from hotels in Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo, and the Tourist Corridor• If your hotel is not listed, feel free to contact us so we can check transportation availability for your area• Guests arriving with their own vehicle may meet directly at Cerritos Beach (Big Fun Beach Club Parking Area), where the surfing lesson begins from the beach• Hotels outside the main tourist area, including Hard Rock, Nobu, Rancho San Lucas, Diamante, or Four Seasons Costa Palmas, are not included in complimentary transportation and will meet at Plaza Gali OXXO in Cabo San Lucas• Cruise guests will also meet at Plaza Gali OXXO, approximately 3–5 minutes walking from the marina exit. Detailed walking directions will be provided with your confirmation message• Cabo San Lucas cruise arrivals operate using tender boats, which may take additional time depending on port operations. We strongly recommend taking the earliest tender available or booking priority tender service whenever possible• Guests who miss transportation or arrive late must arrive directly at Cerritos Beach before the activity start time at their own expense

What To Expect
Escape the resort corridor and head to Cerritos Beach, one of Baja California Sur's most recognized surf destinations. This surf lesson combines professional instruction with the relaxed atmosphere of the Pacific coast, creating an ideal environment for both first-time surfers and those looking to improve their skills.
Upon arrival, your instructor introduces the fundamentals of surfing, including safety, paddling technique, wave selection, and proper board positioning before entering the water. The lesson then moves into the surf zone, where you'll practice techniques and build confidence while receiving continuous coaching throughout the session.
After your time in the water, relax by the beach and enjoy lunch overlooking the Pacific Ocean before returning to Los Cabos.

If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
