The 71 metres tall Budhha carved out from the rock mountain located at the joining of river tributaries is one of the most impressive Buddhist sites in China. This impressive Buddha took 3 generations of best engineers and craftsmen 90 years to complete, since 713 AD.

Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi)

Our guide will greet you at your hotel lobby and we then do a short drive to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding – be sure to fully charge you devices, they are what we call film/battery killer! It’s a beautiful park where we will the giant pandas, red pandas and if we are lucky we could even see the baby pandas in the Panda Nursery. Come here early we will more likely to see pandas in their breakfast time and play time!
