Overview
Explore two different dive sites on a small-group boat diving experience from Almyrida.
Our local instructors select the dive sites according to sea conditions and the experience of the divers in the group, giving you the best experience possible on the day.
With small groups and an experienced PADI Instructor guiding your dives, you'll receive personal attention while discovering the varied underwater landscapes and marine life around Chania.
Between dives, relax on the boat with water, Greek tea and a snack bar before heading back underwater for your second dive.

What To Expect
This experience is for certified divers exploring Chania on a two-dive boat trip from Almyrida.
Meet your PADI Instructor at our dive centre to prepare your equipment and receive a briefing before heading to the boat for two guided dives at different sites.
Dive sites depend on sea conditions and group experience. Discover rocky reefs, underwater walls and marine life, including octopus, lionfish, moray eels and schools of fish.
Sites may include the famous Elephant Cave, an underwater cave with a natural air chamber containing prehistoric elephant fossils. Elephant Cave is not guaranteed on this general boat trip and depends on conditions and diver suitability.
You'll dive with an experienced PADI Instructor, with group sizes adapted to diver experience.
Between dives, relax on board with water, Greek tea and a snack bar provided.
Full scuba equipment is included, or you can bring your own.
After both dives, we'll return to Almyrida and finish at the dive centre.
A valid scuba diving certification is required. Divers who haven't dived in the past 12 months may need a refresher, depending on their experience and comfort level. Each diver is assessed individually.

Participants in the Chania Scuba Diving | Boat Dives | Certified Divers cannot fly in an airplane within 24 hours of their dive.
The main concern with scuba diving and flying is decompression sickness (DCS). Your body needs adequate time during an ascent to off-gas excess nitrogen, or you can form bubbles in your bloodstream, possibly leading to DCS.
Jun 2024If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
Feb 2023- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
