    Nasrid Palaces

    You will visit the Comares Palace with its administrative area called Mexuar, Patio de los Arrayanes with its porticos and pool and the Comares Tower where the majestic Throne Room is located. The stucco construction techniques and the wood techniques used to make the original ceiling that are still preserved will be explained. The visit continues with the Palace of the Lions, a majestic work of Sultan Mohammed V where we will visit the patio with the famous fountain and the annexed rooms such as the Room of Two Sisters and of the Kings. Concluding the visit in the Partal area and the Torre de las Damas.

    The public area of the Alhambra is covered, explaining the structure of the city, commenting on Christian modifications such as the church of Santa María de la Alhambra and the convent of San Francisco, currently converted into a national hostel that was the burial place of Queen Elizabeth. We visit the area of the dry land where the ruins of the Palacio de los Abencerrajes are located, a very prominent family of the Nasrid court and the area of the Medina where we will see ruins of the workshops and ovens that they used to build the decorations.

    Tour of the Cerro del Sol hill where we will see the Nasrid orchards and the Christian labyrinth gardens of the Generalife, explanation of the flora of the gardens and the fruits that were produced in the orchards. Patio de Polo, Patio de la Guardia, Patio de la Acequia where we will see the summer house of the Sultan, Patio de la Sultana with the cypress and tall gardens.
