Istanbul Markets & Bazaars Tour: Private Custom with a Local Host
Overview
Istanbul’s markets and bazaars are woven into the fabric of the city, shaped by centuries of trade, craftsmanship, and cultural exchange. From historic caravan routes to bustling market streets, these spaces offer a rich, sensory insight into daily life and tradition.
On this private experience, you will explore Istanbul’s vibrant shopping districts with a local host who brings meaning and context to everything you encounter. This is not a fixed itinerary. Your experience is shaped around your interests, whether that means focusing on traditional crafts, food markets, textiles, or understanding how locals shop and interact.
Before your experience, you will complete an online personalization form so your host can design a tailored route. As you explore, you will gain confidence navigating the markets, learn local customs such as bargaining, and discover both iconic bazaars and lesser-known trading spots.
