We pride ourselves in having more governing independent and national flags flying over our little island more than any other place in our country, eight sepperate governments would opperate Amelia Island within three hundred years.
The question is, why would so many different people groups choose Fernandina over other parts of North America?
In our tour we discuss all of these questions while visiting the iconic historicak streets and homes that were full of life just prior to the Civil War.
