Be the captain of your own Zodiac boat on this Alaskan wilderness adventure from Ketchikan! Follow your guide along gorgeous bays, past lush islands, and deep into inlets, keeping an eye out for wildlife such as whales, eagles and bears along the way. Stop by a beach for a warm snack and take home an Alaskan boatman certificate to commemorate your amazing experience.
This small-group tour is limited to four people, ensuring you’ll received personalized attention from your guide.

Meeting and Pickup
We will meet you at the departure time downtown Ketchikan on dock 2 at The Rain gauge next to the bronze statue of people called "The Rock" or Ward Cove Dock (:15-:20 min after the original start time, in the back right corner of the ward cove building next to the garage doors and the restrooms, look for a representative holding the tour sign "Alaska Boatman Tour". Please keep your phone on

If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
Feb 2023- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the tour start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the tour local time (AKST).
