Krakow: Kościuszko Museum and Mound Entry Ticket
Overview
Begin your visit inside the historic Fort 2 “Kościuszko”, where the modern permanent exhibition “Kościuszko – a Hero for Our Times” tells the story of Tadeusz Kościuszko through multimedia, interactive displays, historical objects, film, theatre-inspired elements and original artefacts.
Learn about Kościuszko’s life, his involvement in the American War of Independence, his fight for freedom in Poland and the legacy that made him one of the best-known Polish historical figures.
Continue along the visitor route and climb Kościuszko Mound. From the summit, enjoy a wide panorama of Krakow and its surroundings. See landmarks such as Wawel Castle, St Mary’s Basilica, the Cloth Hall and the Main Market Square. On clear days, views can extend as far as the Tatra Mountains.
