At Arctic Artefact's unique Reindeer Antler Workshop you get to make your own souvenirs from reindeer antler in the guidance of our host.
Mistakes are part of the process, and here, they’re embraced with laughter. In the end, everyone leaves not only with a handcrafted reindeer antler keepsake but also with shared memories.

What To Expect
Hands-on workshop in Äkäslompolo, Ylläs
At Arctic Artefact's workshop you will create two unique reindeer antler souvenirs. Choose between magnets, pendants, keychains or sets of earrings and mix and match if you'd like. No prior skills needed — just your curiosity.
Duration: Approximately 2,5 hours

For who: Everybody between 5 to 99 - Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
Step into a cozy candlelit space filled with the scent of spruce and the soft textures of reindeer hides. Here, surrounded by Arctic mystique, you will craft two personalized pieces of reindeer antler. Choose a symbol that resonates with you. Perhaps an ancient symbol of nature, an animal, or a trait you too possess. Before inking your design, you’ll practice on paper, getting comfortable with the symbol. Then, with steady hands, you’ll bring your vision to life with a glass pen and ink on the antler itself. The final touch is a protective varnish ensuring your creation lasts for years to come. This isn’t just a craft, but a moment to slow down, create, and take home a piece of the Arctic’s timeless spirit.
