What To Expect
Journey back in time with your expert, personal guide on a PRIVATE TOUR of The Getty Villa in the picturesque Pacific Palisades in Los Angeles. The Getty Villa is a museum modeled after the Villa dei Papri, a country house in Herculaneum that was buried by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 AD. It displays a collection of Greek, Roman and Etruscan art that explores ancient life, culture, religion and even war. See and hear stories about treasures that range from early, intact perfume bottles and coins to massive, authentic statues of Greek and Roman gods. Surrounded by glorious gardens, and an amphitheater, The Getty Villa transports you to another time and place.
