Madeira Monte Tobbogans and Old Town Tuk Tuk Tour by MadTuk
Overview
Discover a unique tuk tuk experience that combines breathtaking views and Madeira’s most famous attraction.
Your journey begins through Funchal’s charming streets as we make our way to the beautiful village of Monte 550 mt high. Along the route, enjoy panoramic viewpoints while your local guide shares fascinating stories about Madeira’s culture and traditions.
In Monte, you will visit one of Madeira’s most iconic locations, famous for its lush gardens, historic church. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to experience the world-renowned Monte Toboggan Ride (ticket not included), a thrilling tradition dating back to the 19th century, where skilled carreiros guide a wicker sled down the winding roads of Monte.
After the toboggan experience, your MadTuk guide will continue the tour through Funchal’s historic centre. Explore the colourful and vibrant Old Town, known for its painted doors.
This tour offers the perfect combination of sightseeing, culture, history, and unforgettable memories.

They reserve the right to close without notice due to adverse weather or excessive queues (frequently occurring during late slots) Queue & Tour Duration: Standard lines can occasionally exceed 2 hours. Since the total tour is 1.5 hours, on these situations we suggest the premium on-site Fast Pass for immediate boarding to ensure you enjoy the experience without rush.
