After visiting Valletta, you will visit the Three Cities area, so called for the imposing fortifications that have protected the towns of Senglea, Vittoriosa and Cospicua over the centuries, located on the opposite side of the Great Harbor right in front of Valletta. Panoramic tour with a stop at the Gardjola Gardens in Senglea, where you can admire a breathtaking view of the big port, before continuing to Birgu-Vittoriosa for a short walking tour of this characteristic small town that still preserves the authentic Maltese spirit.

We next visit the Medieval city of Mdina. Mdina is built on a plateau in the centre of the island, the city's old Baroque buildings, Cathedral and magnificent bastion walls dominate the rural skyline. Mdina, once the capital of Malta until the modern city of Valletta was built in 1566 has had many names including Melite, Medina (Arabic occupation), Citta Notabile and Citta Vecchia (after Valletta was built). Today it is also referred as the Silent City since it inspires tranquillity at any time of the day or night. The only way to really experience and enjoy this city is on foot, explore the quaint alleys, narrow streets, ancient buildings and magnificent far reaching views from the high bastion walls.
