Martha Brae Rafting Experience w/Jerk Chicken Lunch, Montego Bay
Overview
Jamaica's most popular attraction is the Martha Brae River Rafting with Jamaican Jerk Chicken lunch included!
At the Martha Brae Rafting Village, guests board a bamboo raft and enjoy a leisurely, relaxing, 60 min. float down the river. Each raft is steered by a skilled captain who will point out local flora and fauna along the way. The riverbanks are also dotted with local vendors selling crafts and souvenirs.
The Martha Brae River in Trelawny offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the typical island hotspots. With its calm waters and lush surroundings, Martha Brae is a relaxing retreat for the entire family. A short drive from Montego Bay, the Martha Brae River has a rich history dating back to the colonial era. It is said to have been named after a legendary Taino woman who cursed the river, causing it to run backwards.
