What To Expect
During this private half-day MTB coaching session, you'll receive 2.5 hours of personalized mountain bike instruction tailored to your specific goals and skill level. Your experienced coach will begin with a quick assessment and bike setup check, making immediate improvements to your riding position.
You'll practice fundamental techniques on manageable terrain before progressing to purpose-built features at our exclusive "Field of Dreams" facility or one of Nelson's renowned trail networks. Using slow-motion video analysis, active drills, and off-bike exercises, your coach will help you master specific skills—whether it's cornering, drops, jumps, or technical descents.
Perfect for individuals or small groups (1-6 riders, ages 8+), our coaching philosophy focuses on building confidence through progressive learning. You'll break down complex skills into manageable steps, reducing fear and creating lasting improvement. By session's end, you'll not only have new techniques to enhance your riding but also personalized "purposeful practice" goals to continue your progression on the trails.
