Cruise the Waikiki coast in the comfort of the Moana catamaran, at 55 feet long and 30 feet wide our large base makes this one of the most stable vessels in Hawaii, with plenty of deck space and cushioned seating throughout for optimal comfort during your whale watching experience. Our experienced captains and knowledgeable crew share fascinating insights on Humpback whales and Hawaii’s marine wildlife.

What To Expect
Experience Whale watching in Hawaii, one of the most popular activities in the winter! Cruise along Oahu’s south shore, in search of Hawaii’s annual visitors, the Pacific Humpback Whale, with beautiful views of the Ko’olau Mountains, Diamond Head, Koko Head, and Koko Crater in the backdrop.
Cruises depart daily December 1st through April 1st from Kewalo basin Harbor, just 5-10 minutes away from Waikiki. This 2 hour excursion gives you the perfect opportunity to catch these majestic animals as they enjoy the beautiful Hawaiian waters. Sightings on all whale watch cruises are guaranteed, during the season or you’ll cruise again (based on availability)Valid December 1st to April 1st.

As an active member of the Dolphin SMART program, we do not have physical contact with the dolphins on Oahu: Moana’s Waikīkī Whale Watching Exploration. We watch them in their natural habitat from the boat.
Dec 2022If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
Feb 2023- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the tour start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the tour local time (HST).
- This tour requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
