Pantheons, flower fields, and traditional dinner
Overview
Live a special Day of the Dead night in Oaxaca with a group experience that combines flower fields, cemeteries, and family traditions.
We will meet at 5:30 p.m. and leave at 6:00 p.m. heading to a flower field, where you can enjoy the sunset among marigolds and borla, as well as have time to take photographs of the giant catrinas.
Afterward, we will continue to Santa Cruz Xoxocotlán to visit its new cemetery and learn how families prepare and decorate the graves during these dates. (LOUD NOISE)
Later we will visit a traditional house to appreciate a Day of the Dead altar and enjoy a snack with tamale, bread, chocolate, coffee, and mezcal. (included)
The last stop will be the old pantheon of Xoxocotlán, where you will have approximately an hour free to tour it and appreciate the atmosphere of this celebration.
