Discover the fascinating history and hidden side of Cyprus on this full-day journey into the northern part of the island. Cross the UN buffer zone and explore the ancient city of Salamis, home to impressive ruins, Roman baths, a grand theatre, and ancient temples dating back centuries. Continue to the walled city of Famagusta, where Gothic architecture and historic landmarks such as Othello’s Tower and St. Nicholas Cathedral reveal the city’s rich past. The highlight of the tour is a guided visit to Varosha, the famous ghost town abandoned since 1974, where streets and buildings remain frozen in time. A unique experience combining archaeology, culture, and the modern history of Cyprus. Just so you know, because of local restrictions at Strovillia checkpoint, only passport holders from EU member states, the UK, Iceland, Norway and Switzerland can travel to and from the northern part of Cyprus
