Overview
The PADI Scuba Diver course is a subset of the PADI Open Water Diver course. If you’re short on time but really want to become a diver, the PADI Scuba Diver rating might be right for you ̶ particularly if you expect to go scuba diving primarily with a dive guide.

What To Expect
The PADI Scuba Diver Course is completed over two days and will allow you to dive worldwide to a maximum of 12 metres with a PADI professional.
The course is structured as follows:
Day 1: Confined water skills
After completing some paperwork you will learn a variety of scuba diving skills in confined water (a swimming pool or a shallow, clear bay).
Day 2: Open water dives 1 and 2
Time to put your new skills to use! Complete two open water dives in the crystal clear waters surrounding our dive centre. You will dive to a maximum depth of 12 metres exploring the dive site and enjoying the marine life!
You will be sent online learing upon booking to complete in the comfort of your own home before joining us!

Participants in the Scuba Diver Course cannot fly in an airplane within 24 hours of their dive.
The main concern with scuba diving and flying is decompression sickness (DCS). Your body needs adequate time during an ascent to off-gas excess nitrogen, or you can form bubbles in your bloodstream, possibly leading to DCS.
Jun 2024If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
Feb 2023- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the tour start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the tour local time (EET).
