Comfort is part of the experience, with air-conditioned transportation between each restaurant, allowing you to relax and fully enjoy every stop without worrying about logistics.
The journey concludes on a sweet note at a traditional Mexican café, where you'll select your favorite dessert and pair it with an exceptional coffee from the state of Oaxaca—or a fine tea if you prefer—the perfect ending to an unforgettable culinary adventure.

What To Expect
Discover the flavors Mexican families actually enjoy, far from Playa del Carmen's tourist strip. Forget long walks under the Caribbean sun; this 3-hour food tour moves between stops in an air-conditioned vehicle, so you can relax and focus on the food. Your guide accompanies you throughout, in English, Spanish or Italian, to carefully selected local restaurants, each with its own specialty; slow-cooked carnitas, fresh fish or shrimp tacos full of Caribbean flavor, and tasty vegetarian alternatives. Dishes arrive with warm tortillas, and your guide shows you how to build your own tacos the way locals do, while sharing the stories behind each recipe. Every restaurant includes a drink of your choice: fresh fruit water, a soft drink or an ice-cold local beer for adults. The journey ends on a sweet note at a traditional Mexican café, where you choose your favorite dessert paired with premium coffee from Oaxaca or a fine tea.
