The 27 Charcos de Damajagua, also known as the 27 Waterfalls of Damajagua, is one of the most popular natural attractions in the Dominican Republic, located near Puerto Plata.
This place is famous for its series of waterfalls and natural pools formed by the Damajagua River, surrounded by lush tropical forest.
Tourists will begin their experience with a guided hike through the forest, which usually takes around 30 to 40 minutes. After reaching the top, they will go down through the waterfalls by jumping, sliding on natural rock slides, and swimming in crystal-clear pools.
