ATV Reykjavik Express
Overview
Explore the hidden valleys of the capital region and enjoy a family-friendly ATV adventure on this 1.5-hour quad bike tour.
No prior experience is needed, and all safety gear is provided. Drivers need a valid license; passengers do not (min. age 6). Follow your expert guide along rugged paths, winding through scenic hills and tracing ancient Viking trails just outside Reykjavik.
Riding deep into the wilderness where the sagas unfolded, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the vast Icelandic countryside. We stop at the best vantage points so you can capture stunning photos of the dramatic landscape.
Finish with a thrilling ride back to basecamp, taking unforgettable memories of Iceland’s wild frontier with you before your journey back to your Reykjavik hotel.

What To Expect
Discover the hidden valleys of the capital region and trace ancient Viking trails on this thrilling 1.5-hour quad biking adventure.
Following a pickup at your Reykjavik hotel, take a short 15-minute journey to the base just outside the city. On arrival, listen to a brief safety introduction, pull on your helmet, and hop onto your quad bike to head straight into Iceland’s rugged countryside.
As you spin through the landscape, take in top natural attractions including the pristine Hafravatn Lake and the rugged terrains of Mt. Hafrafell. From vantage points high up on the mountainsides, you can admire sweeping views over nearby towns like Mosfellsbær.
Afterward, return to the base for your onward journey back to your Reykjavik hotel.
