25 Flavours of Latvia: Riga Central Market & Old Town Food Tour
Overview
Discover the real taste of Riga on an intimate, premium food tour limited to just 15 guests.
We start at the monumental Riga Central Market. To ensure you don't miss a word in the buzzing pavilions, we provide wireless audio headsets (for groups of 8+). You will step out of your culinary comfort zone and experience a symphony of 25 distinct flavour nuances—from traditional herring and hemp pesto to local chicken winglets and iconic bacon-horseradish rye bread croutons.
After a scenic 15-minute walk packed with local history, we leave the market crowd behind. The tour culminates in a charming Old Town café for a cosy, sit-down meal served family-style. Enjoy seasonal soup, authentic grey peas with speck paired with fresh kefir, warm bacon pastries, homemade apple juice from our manager's garden, and a cranberry dessert. We top it off with a premium Riga Black Balsam tasting ritual and local candies.
Come hungry, bring your curiosity, and experience Riga like a local!
