REINDEER FARM VISIT a real authentic experience
Overview
You will meet your new cute reindeers friends, feed & talk to them, you will experience a little reindeer sled ride if snow allows and then sit in a traditional kota by the fire drinking a hot drink and listening to the herder stories about the local sami lifestyle and about the reindeers.

What To Expect
We will meet at the arranged pick up location or we'll pick you up at your accommodation. The oldest authentic traditional reindeer farm of Rovaniemi is waiting for us. Once we arrive at the farm, depending on the amount of snow, we will either feed and spend time with the reindeer or watch the herders feed them in winter and take a short 400-meter sleigh ride around the farm. Then we'll head inside a traditional Kota, around the fire with hot berry juice and cookies where the reindeer herder will give us a lot of information about the reindeers, the reindeer herders and the farms and you'll be able to ask as many questions as you may have.
Please note that sled rides are not guaranteed, as they depend on snow conditions, and refunds cannot be provided if a sled ride is not possible that day.
