Meeting and Pickup
Pick up service is available from the listed hotels. If your hotel or location is not listed among the pickup points, please contact us (the supplier) or the platform to check availability. You will receive your pick up point & time via Viator message. Failure to participate in the safari due to missed pick up point or time will not be refunded. If you need pick up from hotels, please meet the guide at your hotel reception on time; if you need pick up from meeting point, please find the guide at our office downstairs on time (Sunny Safari Office, Tähtikuja 1, 96930 Rovaniemi, in Santa Claus Village).

What To Expect
This journey begins at a local reindeer farm right on the outskirts of the city of Rovaniemi, but deep enough to be entrenched in the forest. Meet many reindeers including the cute little ones and have many opportunities for fantastic pictures. Experience the old-school way to travel by sled in the Arctic Circle and imagine what it must feel like for Santa to be pulled by reindeers. A safe trail will be followed which has been built and maintained by the reindeer herders themselves. You as the riding guests will be laid down in the sleigh and covered by warm blankets. Enjoy the Arctic Lapland’s beautiful scenery by reindeer sledding. Afterwards, be welcomed to the farmer’s house for snacks and warm drinks understanding why most Northern men have full facial hair just like good ol’ Mr. Santa Claus!

- Each reindeer sleigh is shared by 2 adults (except in special circumstances). A maximum of 2 adults and 2 children is allowed per sled. Final seating arrangements are determined by the musher on site.
- The duration of this sled ride is approximately 40 to 50 minutes, so we kindly advise you to dress appropriately for Arctic temperatures.
- Thermal overalls and boots are provided. The total duration includes transfer time and clothes changing time.
- Pick-up service is included from selected locations. If your accommodation is not listed, please contact us to check availability.
- You will receive the final meeting time and meeting point upon confirmation. Failure to participate in the safari due to missing the meeting time or meeting point will not be eligible for a refund.
