Visit the towns of south-west France that acquired a reputation as a fashionable destination for the rich and powerful, becoming Europe's premier coastal resort area at the end of the 19th century. We will be visiting Biarritz. This former tiny fishing town was a meeting point for European aristocracy in the XIX century, and today remains an important tourist destination thanks to its luxurious Hôtel du Palais, its casinos, exclusive shops and surfing scene. We will take some time to enjoy its unique atmosphere where luxury lives in harmony with local restaurants and surf shops.
