Historical and Wine Tour
Overview
This 4 hour private tour will take you on a journey to discover the history of Santorini. Known for its beauty, the important history of Santorini is often overlooked. This tour will enlighten you with the rich history of the island, with the chance to explore the fantastic preserved prehistoric ruins of Akrotiri. You will have the chance to walk through the 4,000-year-old site, one of the most significant prehistoric settlements of the Aegean. You will have the opportunity to see how the old inhabitants of Akrotiri lived, and take a look at the unique paintings. End your tour with a trip to two local wineries of your choice, and sample 12 different wine styles paired with cheese and other snacks. You will also visit some of Santorini’s hidden gems of the island during the tour.
