Horse Drawn Daytime Group Narrated Historic Overview Tour
Overview
No visit to Savannah is complete without a sightseeing tour by horse-drawn carriage. Let the gentle “clip-clop” of horses, and sway of the carriage, transport you to Savannah’s colorful past with one of our entertaining and informative tours. For nearly 50 years Carriage Tours of Savannah, the city’s first carriage tour company, has been featured in advertisements, videos & magazines, including The New York Times travel section as one of two great ways recommended to tour Savannah. Our 45-50-minute narrated tours, HISTORY BY DAY, AND SAVANNAH’S ONLY HORSE DRAWN GHOST TOUR BY NIGHT.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy your 45-50 minute narrated history tour around the stunning Savannah streets. Guides will show you the magic of a time when things moved slower & the clip- clop of horse feet were a part of every day.
We partner with some of the most beautiful & soulful creatures on earth, share a Savannah like you’ve never experienced.
Established in 1977, we take pride in our status as one of the first tour companies in Savannah & our excellent reputation for responsible equine partnerships. We love our visitors, but for us, the horses come first. We know you won’t mind being our number two for just a little bit. This is a public tour. Carriages seat up to 12. You will be riding along with others.
