With experienced instructors, fluent in Spanish, English, and French, each lesson is personalized to your skills for optimal learning.

After a thorough on-land instruction, we'll go to the water for 1.5 hours of fun, making sure you build confidence and skill in a supportive environment.

What To Expect
We meet at Marea Surf School, where you’ll pick the perfect board for your skill level, including board, leash, and rash guard.
After a short 5-minute walk to the beach, we start with 20 minutes of on-sand instruction, covering paddling, positioning, wave safety, and the basics of catching your first wave.
Then it’s time for 1.5 hours in the water with your friendly local instructors, who provide hands-on guidance and personalized feedback to help you gain confidence and improve quickly. Lessons are designed for all ages and skill levels and are in small groups to make sure everyone gets attention, making it both safe and fun.
Whether you’re chasing your first wave or just looking to try something new, the goal is to make sure you leave the beach with new skills, big smiles, and unforgettable memories of surfing in beautiful Sayulita.

All equipment included: surfboard, leash, rash guard

If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
Feb 2023- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the tour start time will not be accepted.
