Overview
Travel into the protected waters of Resurrection Bay in search of gray whale on their annual migration through Alaskan waters on this 4-hour excursion. Gray whales migrate over 5,000 miles from Baja to the Bering and Chukchi Seas each year in search of food. They begin their migration north in late February and travel through Alaskan waters in the spring. In addition to gray whales, watch for humpback whales, orca, Steller sea lions, sea otters, Dall's porpoises, harbor seals, bald eagles, and many other types of marine birds.

What To Expect
Join the season's first Seward cruise through Resurrection Bay to the Gulf of Alaska in search of wildlife, surrounded by snow-capped peaks and stunning spring scenery. Search for migrating whales and resident wildlife as you take in the rugged beauty. Watch for Steller sea lions, sea otters, Dall’s porpoises, harbor seals, bald eagles, and more. In spring, you may even see mountain goats with their newly born kids and a chance for early season humpback whales or orcas. As an active member of the Dolphin SMART program, we do not have physical contact with the dolphins on Resurrection Bay Spring Wildlife Cruise. We watch them in their natural habitat from the boat.
Dec 2022If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
Feb 2023- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
