Warning: surfing is addictive and can lead to considerable thrills and spills! Come and experience surfing and bodyboarding on Sligo’s world-famous surf coast on Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way. Sligo’s surf coast has the most consistent swell - the slow and regular movement of the sea in rolling waves that do not break, in all of Europe and Sligo’s surf coast holds the record for the largest wave surfed in Ireland. Whether you’re a novice or a more experienced wave warrior, come and experience more with our team of professional surf instructors. We will show the novice how to catch their first wave in a few easy steps in a safe, fun environment and help all surfers improve their surfing skills.

- We provide all necessary surfing equipment (soft surfboards, warm wetsuits and boots), access to changing rooms and showers in County Sligo Surf Club and storage for personal belongings.

What To Expect

Surf lessons last 3 hrs including 30 min check in time.
All surf classes are weather dependent, and safety is our priority, and as with all water sports, it is advisable to be able to swim.

If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
Feb 2023- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the tour start time will not be accepted.
