Blue Cave

The Blue Cave is a natural phenomenon that attracts many tourists from all over the world. The cave is located on the eastern side of the island of Biševo near Vis. The cave has two openings, one through which a small paddle boat can pass and the other on the south side of the cave below sea level. Sunlight reaches this opening and reflects and illuminates the cave in blue. The visit to the cave is organized by a small paddle boat. After we reach Bisevo, we wait for the queue to enter the cave. The cave is fascinating and worth a visit. This natural phenomenon defends itself from excessive visits. Wondering how? In case of bad weather and waves it is not possible to enter the cave. That is why it is best to visit in the morning.

In the middle of the wilderness of the island of Vis lies the most attractive cove. The ideal approach to Stiniva is by boat from the sea. The bay is about 600 meters long and is surrounded on both sides by high inaccessible rock cliffs.
