Overview
Step aboard Suncoast Horizon, a real working schooner and experience what sailing is actually supposed to feel like.
No roaring engines. No canned tour script. Just wind in the sails, salt in the air, and the kind of quiet glide across the water you don’t forget.
We sail the Gulf whenever conditions allow on wide open water, dolphins in the wake, seabirds overhead. When Mother Nature says otherwise, we tuck into the calm, scenic waters of Boca Ciega Bay. Either way, you’re on the water the right way: under sail.
Bring your favorite adult drinks or purchase from our store (BYOB, we’ve got the cooler and ice covered), enjoy great music, and kick back with a crew that knows how to read the wind and read the room. Complimentary water and an onboard restroom keep things easy.
This is a shared sail with a limited group: laid-back, not crowded, and never cookie-cutter. If you want the boat to yourself, ask about private charters.

Our true working schooner offers comfortable seating and wide open decks perfect for photos. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, planning a romantic evening, or simply soaking in a perfect Florida day.

IMPORTANT: This is a shared public sailing experience and requires a minimum number of passengers to operate. In the rare event that minimum participation is not met, guests will be offered an alternate date/experience or a full refund.

If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
Feb 2023- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the tour start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the tour local time (EST).
- This tour requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
