What To Expect
Travel back two millennia and immerse yourself in ancient Tarraco before visiting its monuments. With this virtual tour you will enjoy more of your subsequent tour and better understand our Roman legacy. Go beyond the information that a book or guide can provide, and dare to experience in person the splendor of the Empire in the 2nd century AD.
Can you imagine flying over Tarraco, listening to the bustle of the Circus, admiring the Amphitheater, contemplating the Colonial and Provincial Forums, discovering its temples and markets as if you were right there? With TimePort this possibility is no longer just a dream, but a living and unforgettable experience.
In addition to contemplating and understanding the main Roman buildings in a pleasant and visual way, you will be able to locate them in the current Tarragona through digital reconstruction techniques. The past and present together in a fascinating experience.
We are right in front of the Cathedral of Tarragona, in the historical center of the old Tarraco, so you can complete your experience by physically visiting the main places you have traveled in virtual reality.
Don’t just visit history, live it!
