The main monument is a palace, the core upon which the city grew. Well preserved until today, it is a valuable archaeological complex which are on UNESCO’s World Heritage list since 1979. What makes Diocletian’s palace so special is the fact that it has always been inhabited making it an unique tourist attraction with lots of restaurants, museums and shops.
