Private Full Day Tour to Meteora from Volos
Overview
This wonder of nature would be worth visiting just for the picturesque landscape even if the monasteries weren't there. The thing is that they are. The old Greek Monasteries blend in perfectly with the surrounding environment creating a once in a lifetime sensation. It is my most popular tour(more than 100 times a year)and there is a good reason for that.
During the ride I will explain a lot about geology, history, orthodox religion, and the impact Meteora has had on Greece over the centuries. We will also talk about Greece and the Greek way of life.
Since I've been doing this for so many years, I know the best traditional local restaurants, I know where are the best stops, where to go, we will visit the spots that are "off the map" for the majority of tourists, for you to take the best photos that you would otherwise miss, and to give you an unforgettable experience.
The tour is fully customizable and can be tailored in your needs.
Most travelers usually visit 2 or even 3 monasteries.
