• 10.00 am arrival in Matera and short stop to use the public toilets. Panoramic stop at the terraces and start of the guided tour. Entrance to the cave house with multilingual audio guide.

A day trip for those who like to visit without rushing. Only a few people and the perfect opportunity to discover the best that the city has to offer. Meet the driver and the tour leader in Bari and then head towards Matera. Together with the tour leader you will visit a typical cave house with audio guide service and taste the typical local liqueur, the “Amaro Lucano”. You will have some free time to spend on your own. You will be fascinated by the discovery of the existence of houses and churches dug into the rock, where some inhabitants lived until the first half of the 20th century.
