Overview

After meeting your guide, you’ll board a comfortable air‑conditioned Jeep or van and begin an unforgettable journey to Mount Etna, climbing to about 2,000 meters. Along the way, your expert guide will reveal the secrets, legends, and powerful history of Europe’s most active volcano. Far from the crowded tourist spots, you’ll follow scenic trails, surrounded by unique flora and fauna, crossing ancient lava fields and monumental flows that have reshaped villages, roads, and landscapes. Equipped with helmets and torches, you’ll explore fascinating volcanic features such as Hornitos and lava flow caves, before reaching a stunning viewpoint overlooking the surreal lava desert of the Valle del Bove. To complete the experience, you’ll savor authentic local products from the Zafferana Etnea area, for a perfect taste of Sicily’s volcanic soul.
