Private Cooking Class in Chianti from Florence
Overview
Culinary tradition is intrinsic to Italian culture, and especially here, where it becomes a major part of the cultural experience of visiting the region.
We will be hosted in an organic farm, in the heart of Chianti Classico area. A typical farmhouse where a Tuscan family lives since many generations. It’s a charming set up, surrounded by rows of vines and olive groves. Here we will start cooking our meal. With the help of a local Tuscan Lady that will reveal traditional secrets of our cuisine as well as cooking techniques, success is guaranteed.
Starters like bruschettas and crostini, cold cuts, cheeses and their pairing with honeys and jams. Pasta, and its fascinating world: We will make our own fresh home-made pasta from scratches, the old-fashioned way with a wooden rolling pin! Since any great meal ends with a dessert.
A tasting of various wines and spirits produced in the farm is included in the experience, as well as the visit of the property and cellar door.

What To Expect
Culinary tradition is at the heart of Tuscan culture and a highlight of visiting the region. We will pick you up and return you to your hotel or apartment in Florence and take you to a local farm in the heart of Chianti Classico, a charming farmhouse surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, flowers, and vegetable gardens.
Here, you will roll up your sleeves and prepare your own Tuscan meal. Guided by a local Tuscan lady, you will learn traditional recipes and cooking techniques, ensuring a fun and memorable experience.
The experience also includes a tour of the property and cellar, making it a full and authentic Tuscan culinary journey.
