Florence : Guided Tour of Michelangelo’s David at Accademia
Overview
Here’s a version under 1,000 characters:
Step into Michelangelo’s world at Florence’s Accademia Gallery and experience his genius up close. Stand before the iconic David and admire the remarkable detail, balance, and realism that made it one of the greatest masterpieces of the Renaissance.
Continue through the gallery to discover works such as Venus & Cupid, the dramatic Rape of the Sabines, and the Coronation of the Virgin, each revealing another side of Florence’s artistic heritage.
In the Hall of Prisoners, see Michelangelo’s unfinished sculptures emerging from blocks of marble and uncover fascinating details about his creative process. Your guide will enrich the visit with stories, historical context, and insights that are easy to miss on your own.
After the guided tour, remain inside the Accademia Gallery and continue exploring at your own pace.
