Overview
Discover the wonders of ancient Pompeii and the majesty of Mount Vesuvius on this combined full-day guided tour from Naples.
Begin with a pickup from the centrally located meeting point in Naples and a transfer by minivan or minibus to the ruins at Pompeii. There will be a tour assistant on the bus during this part of the excursion.
On arrival in Pompeii explore the ruins for around 2 hours to discover the traditions and daily life of ancient Pompeii. You’ll see the large theater, the necropolis, the thermal baths, and some of the amazing houses that were owned by the richest residents.
Savor a light lunch in a typical restaurant in the area before making your way to Mount Vesuvius. Take a relaxing stroll through the nature reserve before embarking on a leisurely walk to the top to experience breathtaking panoramic views of the whole Gulf of Naples.
