To discover this region is to get involved in Guimarães - a World Heritage city since 2001 - with its symbolic castle and cradle of Portugal, it is to walk its streets and feel the history. It is visiting Braga with its Cathedral, feeling that the Romans also passed through there and being part of a modern city. It means going up to the Church of Bom Jesus and allowing yourself to be spiritually involved in its chapels and gardens.
