Overview

After a lovely ride (about 4 hours) by train or by private car, from Rome through Umbria and Tuscany and along the Thyrrenian Sea you will arrive in La Spezia where together with your tour escort, you will catch the train to each the 5 tiny villages of the Cinque Terre: Monterosso, Manarola, Riomaggiore, Corniglia, Vernazza. Then on the way back to La Spezia you will take a boat to admire those lovely villages from the sea with a stop in Portovenere.The inhabitants of Cinque Terre benefit not only from its pristine waters,but from its natural environment, where wild nature is scattered with vineyards, olive plantation and citrus orchards,creating a precious bond between man.Admire coltivation of grapes and olives on terraces up to the cliffs that overlook the Mediterranean Sea!The breathtaking views of harbours far below,the wild but hospitable coastline along with the medieval fortresses and plentiful vines and vibrant colours,make this a memorable holiday.
