After the meeting with the guide at the exit of the Pozzuoli metro station, the tour will start, to discover the Archaeological Park of the Campi Flegrei and the historic center of Pozzuoli.
You will visit the huge Flavian Amphitheater, in Italy smaller than the Colosseum in Rome and the Capuan Amphitheater only. By visiting this gigantic amphitheater, you will understand why it took so long to build it ...
The tour will continue towards the historic center of Pozzuoli, to reveal its most ancient secrets! We will reach the Macellum of Pozzuoli, or the public market of the Roman Puteoli, where you will find out why it was called the Temple of Serapis. Who frequented the market? What relationship did this place have with the phenomenon of bradyseism? We will answer these and many other questions!
For the end we will admire the beautiful seafront of Pozzuoli with immense sea view.
After 3 hours discovering the history of Pozzuoli, we will conclude the tour of this fascinating place.
