Book a tour that ends at least an hour before all-aboard. If a delay on that tour ever makes you miss your ship, Cool Shore Excursions pays to get you to the ship’s next port of call, including a hotel if you need one.

Pick a tour that ends at least an hour before all-aboard (all-aboard is usually 30 to 60 minutes before your ship sails). Your cruise page shows the hours your ship is in Pochlarn, and each tour page shows how long the tour lasts. Booking two tours on the same day? Leave at least an hour between them. Book this way and our Guaranteed Return to Ship has you covered.

Change your tour yourself under Bookings in your account, or call us any time. We’ll move you to a time that fits your new hours, and if none does, you get a full refund, except on bookings marked All Sales Final.

If your cruise line cancels the stop in Pochlarn, for weather or a change of itinerary, you get a full refund with no fees or, if you prefer, the same amount toward an excursion at another port of call. Bookings marked All Sales Final are not refunded.

Most tours start within walking distance of the cruise piers. The exact meeting point is in your booking confirmation.

Your cruise card and a photo ID: you need both to get back on board. Bring your booking confirmation (on your phone is fine), comfortable shoes, sunscreen, a hat and a little cash for tips.

Most shore excursions can be canceled free up to 24 hours before they start (Pochlarn time). A few tours have a different policy, and each tour page shows its own. Cancel under Bookings in your account, or call us. If your ship skips Pochlarn, you get a full refund, except on bookings marked All Sales Final.

If your tour is canceled because of the weather, we’ll offer you another time that day that still fits your ship. If there isn’t one, you get a full refund or, if you prefer, the same amount toward an excursion at another port of call. Bookings marked All Sales Final are not refunded.
