Thanks Dr. Asad Mohsin - Associate Professor at the University of Waikato (New Zealand) to introduce a Halal Tour for Muslim Tourists in Portugal.
Lisbon is a Muslim-friendly city with roots in Islamic history. Portugal, once known as Al-Garb Al-Andalus (the west of Spain), was under Islamic rule for over 500 years. The Islamic history rooted over the years in Lisbon is worth taking note of as the Muslims Moors conquered the city in 711, and there are several historical and architectural monuments like Mosteiro dos Jerónimos and Torre de Belém World Heritage Sites. Visit the Central Mosque inaugurated on March 29, 1985 it is a temple of modern architecture and the main and most prominent mosque in Lisbon. After, visit the Aicha Siddika Mosque in Odivelas established in 1983. We’ve prepared an unforgettable Halal tour for you.
